Betty Evatt was released from the
hospital yesterday, May 4. She is at her daughter's home
(Helen Thompson) recuperating. Please continue to pray
for her quick and complete recovery. (5/5/08)
Karla Bierkamp is requesting prayer
for her father who was rushed to the hospital this
morning (5/1/08) due to a seizure. She is asking that we
would be in prayer for him - that the doctors
would be able to figure out what caused the seizure,
also that he would regain his strength (which he hasn't
yet from his liver transplant last November) and that
God would heal his body. (5/1/08)

Betty Evatt, Beth Thompson's
mother, will be undergoing surgery today, Monday, April
28 for a triple bypass and possible valve
repair/replacement. Please pray for Betty and the
doctors - that the surgery will be successful and that
Betty would have a quick and complete recovery.

Steve and Sue Whitman will be
taking a three month break from serving at Oakdale
Christian Academy in Jackson, Kentucky. In order to help
with some transitions they will be making, they are in
need of temporary housing for three people from May 13th
through August 15th. If you have the means for assisting

Please keep Ronda Meldrum and
family in your prayers. Ronda's 25 year old brother,
Brandon, died unexpectedly over the weekend. Funeral
arrangements are in Traverse City at Reynolds Jonkhoss
Funeral Home, 305 6th St, Traverse City, MI 49684.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 23 from 4-8 pm. Funeral
service will be on Thursday, April 24 at 11:00 am at
Reynolds Jonkhoss Funeral Home in Traverse City.

last Saturday, January 5 and was able to attend church
