Food Pantry
During the
year our Food Pantry ministry serves hundreds of people
throughout the Davison area, as well as individuals within
our church family.
Grocery items are acquired at a substantially reduced
price from the Food Bank of Eastern
Michigan.
Financial contributions from the people of the
Davison
Free
Methodist
Church
make this possible.
Participants
We focus on
serving members of the Davison community.
Participants are asked to provide identification,
proof of address, and income.
The following items may be used: Drivers license,
Michigan ID card, a bill receipt or a Medicaid card, WIC,
Bridge card, and check stub.
Food Boxes
Food boxes are
distributed from the
Davison
Free
Methodist
Church
on the third Saturday of each month between 4:00 p.m. and
5:00 p.m. The
boxes generally include: 2 boxes of cereal, canned
vegetables, fruit, noodles, macaroni or rice, soups, and
personal care products such as toothpaste, toilet paper,
deodorant or mouthwash.
Where possible, packages of meat are included.
When available, fresh fruit, vegetables, and dairy
products are added.
Items are subject to availability from the Food Bank
of Eastern Michigan.
